VIDEO: Societe Generale Americas Awarded for Excellence in Derivatives

During the judging process, a panel of editors at GlobalCapital looked for evidence of excellence, acknowledging qualities such as growth, surpassing client expectations, innovation and advocacy for the market.

For the Equity Derivatives award, Global Capital highlighted Societe Generale’s long standing commitment to this asset class and increases in market share, not through “the crude use of balance sheet, but through well-timed and accurate advice.”

Societe Generale Americas Interest Rate Derivatives business stood out in the rates markets for, among other things, how it responded to client demands during the rapid rise in US Treasury yields during the start of the year, offering valued information about what was driving the market and also providing consistency in product offerings and competitive liquidity throughout market conditions.

The Structured Products business distinguished itself from the pack with its outstanding Quantitative Investment Solution Platform to support its clients’ needs and for rolling out a range of innovative new products, with ESG-themed products notably coming to the fore.
